Default YFZ450 Air Box Cover

I hit some pretty deep water a few times on Monday and the last one it stalled (probably bad clutch work while under the tidelwave). It started back up but whenever I get high RPM it studders. Ideas?

Also, when I bought the bike the air box had no cover. What is the best way to seal this? Try to find a used cover?

if it doesnt have a cover its probably jetted and putting a lid back on it will make it run rich. you can go back to the stock lid but u'll still have to cut some holes in it.

So if you took the cover off of a stock bike, it would run lean?

It is a after market exhaust (HMF) - not sure about porting but I assumed it was if it had exhaust installed. Just bought a few weeks ago
