rectifire on my ds 650 broke down twice in a year is this a commmon problem or was there something wrong with my rectifire ? also if anyone knows the reason for this...

 

The grounding on the DS seems to cause alot of problems.
Clean and retighten the ground screw to the frame often.
Run a ground wire off motor to frame ground.
I also run a ground wire from battery and slice it into the ground wire of rectifier. T-connector.
