Default 04 Trailblazer help needed!!

Ok....I traded for this and it seems to be a pretty good ride. But when riding for about 30-45 min the motor knocks a couple of times, and then it dies. It will not refire. Is there a way to check the oil injection to make sure it is working correct? Any help would be appreciated. After sitting for a couple of hours the bike will refire and run ok......for a while. welcome,be careful you dont ruin your top end.is there visible smoke from the exhaust?add oil to the gas tank then see if it keeps running hot.if it does fix your inj. or block it off and mix directly in tank.

How much oil should I add? What is involved with fixing the injection? Or what is involved with blocking it off? Sorry to be such a newb here, but I don't want to destroy my latest toy. Thanks for the info!
