I recently bought a 1992-93 polaris 350 4x4 and the previous owner claims it was running, said that it sat up for a little while and would not start, hence the low price. Anyway I have gone through the basic's 1. fire - yes
2. carburator - cleaned
I attempted to start and it turned over and over ONCE, but never started.
also there is a wire that is running from the wiring panel all the way to the solinod? I traced it to panel and it ties into a little blk box that has "batt" written on it? I'm lost but i know im getting closer, if any one has a schematic or can help i would be appreciative.

 

Hi Rio I have a 1993 diesel polaris I also am looking for a diagram, the wire that comes from the starter solenoid to the box marked batt could be the main feed to the electrics which would be taken from the starter main terminal together with the thick wire that comes from the battery pos terminal. the solenoid terminal would be on its own normally at right angles ish (depending on the starter) to the main starter terminal.When you say that it turned over and over ONCE did the battery go flat or do you mean something else ?
