Default Replacement for Polaris synthetic trans fluid?

What is the fluid in the polaris trans, is it ATF, or gear lube, etc? I dont have a popo dealer near by so I want to just run to the hardware store and get what i need.

Also they spec 80-90W for the gear boxes, i have synthetic 75-90 I would like to use. Any issue with the thinner fluid when cold compared to the 80W? Thanks!

Transmissions take AGL gearcase fluid, a thin fluid. Dont put 75-90 in the transmission! Can use 75-90 in front differential IF you have the older hub activated awd system and if you dont have Demand drive hub fluid can use ATF in a pinch in the hubs. Can use fluids in transmission only if it says for CHAIN CASE transmissions!
