08 rancher 4x4
#1
Just thought i'd share with everyone who thought that the new 420 wouldn't do good in mud a few things from the family trail ride this weekend. I own an 08 stock 4x4 foot shift, stock tires exhasut etc, not even a winch on this thing yet. My cousin was ridin a prarie 700 with the diff lock and some meaty tires, he tried a mud whole that was bout 50 yards long twice and both time only made it about 20-25 yards, he then convinced me that the lil ol rancher could make it. So i dove in head first in second gear and with a little effort i more than doubled his distance. I probably would have made it futher if i woulda got a breather (So worn out from rockin and jumpin back and forth ...) Just wanted to let everyone who doubted the capabilities of these things know that with a little effort and some meatier tires these machines are capable, and LOADS of FUN!!!!

I just got some 26" Zillas and had to pull my cousin's 350 rancher out with some 26" swamp witches. It's bad when the student pulls the teacher out. [img]i/expressions/brokenheart.gif[/img]

I went through some pretty good mud holes with my stock 07 Rancher 2x4. I did get stuck in the thick mud that clogged my tire treads. I've since bought some 25" ITP 589s. Can't wait to try them out!!!
