Default more info on 84 200x sputterin

for got tell you guys who replied to my qestion that wgen i have the choke open it doesnt spit and sputter...so who changing the jets make a difference like some of u have suggested? and will i go bigger or smaller? thanks...for the help guys

Are you certain that the choke is on or off? What positios is the lever in? Up is on, Middle is partial and all the way down is off.

Sounds silly I know but hey, just thinking here;-)

the choke is damn near fully open

I'm not sure I am following here,
If the choke is "damn near fully open" and it runs good, then open it all the way so that the lever is fully down.
When I try to run my 84 200X with the choke up or in the middle it also spits and sputters untill it is fully warm.
