So I found a bad economy / divorce deal.

I got a 2004 Rancher AT with 65 hours on it.

The guy never got the tie-rod recall done. No worries... still active.

The guy never got the ECM update done and this quad falls in line with the serial number.
Since this was a service bulletin and not a warranty recall, it expired in June 2007.

Is there any way to sweet talk the local honda rep to get this waived / or local dealer?
If not, how critical is this update, and what would be the estimated cost...??

Ya pretty well screwed sorry, call into honda custmer service and just ask if they'll buy the part (ecm)and you'll pay the labor should be around half hour or so.
