I have an 07 Sportsman and this past week I've done a lot of plowing here and there nothing to big. Anyways I noticed yesterday the "Wrench" icon started to flash when I go to start the atv and stays on for only 30-60 seconds and then goes off. It did that each time I shut it off and turned it back on yesterday. Could this be from a bad battery? I've got the G2 plow system, winch, maybe front/rear work lights on and also have a Whelen LED Beacon for plowing but being an LED it hardly pulls any amps. Just curious what you guys think or any suggestions? Thanks!!

 

welcome tot eh forum. the wrench icon is for service. look in your owners manual and it will tell you how to reset it. its there to emind you to service your bike. its set at the factory and counts down backwards to zero. you can just reset it by going into the diaonostic of the speedo.

 

Welcome aboard first of all... The wrench icon is just a service reminder for you...You can set it for whetever interval you'd like.....Most guys do 50 hrs.

Thanks for the fast replies I appreciate it. I had it serviced prior to winter, maybe a month or so ago. Maybe they just forgot to update it. I'm not noticing anything out of the normal or anything fishy so I will do that. Thanks and I will upload some pics !
