Does any one here know if 2008 Sportsman aluminum rims will fit on a 2002 Sportsman 400? Thanks The new Guy

 

Almost certain they will but you need longer studs for aluminum wheels.

 

Doesn't the 02 Sportsman still have the big pattern on the front? and the 08 is the same front and rear?

 

The pattern is the same I was afraid the front hubs would not fit through the center hole.

 

My '97 and '01 had the same bolt pattern front and rear. I know it was the same because I swapped wheels front to back on the '97 to see how goofy it looked. I thought all Sportsmans were the same pattern front and rear, except the chain-drive rears.

 

Not sure then, some of the older models are hub centric on the wheels and the newer model wheels will not fit over the centering tabs on the hubs.

For example: 09 sportsman wheels will not fit an 09 Razor because the Razor is hub centric, the bolt pattern is the same. The offset is different between the SP and Razor also.

 

The part# for the hubs on a sportsman are the same as the rzr.

Well they won't fit. Just tried it today.
