any suggestions on a set of tires good for trail riding? what size? approx $? i dont want anything too aggressive still want a decent ride!

 

If you are looking at improved ride, go with radials. For trail riding everyone I know who has Bighorns has been very impressed. They just came out with a bighorn 2.0 that is lighter, but doesn't have as tall lugs. For your use, they might be just the thing.

I don't think I'd go bigger than 25". The Rancher is a snappy handling ride, and I wouldn't want to mess that up.

 

I have tired several different tires over the years and you know what, I just keep going back to the stock ones (except for snow, and I don't ride mud).

You put big stupid tires on this machine, and all you will do is ruin its sweet trail handling characteristics!!! Folks who need a mud monster with huge tires, should pick a different machine.
