Default HI TEMP-CHECK ENG-LIMP HOME

Went for a little trail ride today, ended up being a little muddy, but fun..

Rode most the afternoon, everything went fine.... Was on way back out of the woods, came up to where a camp site is. Turned quad off.. NO messages on the display. NO fan on.....

We sit there a few minutes talking.. Turn key on and start, immediately HI TEMP scrolls across the screen.... A few seconds and the CHECK ENGINE scrolls across.. Turning key off, the LIMP HOME mode scrolls across.. Hmmmmm... I start it, give it gas, as the quad is NOT HOT! NO FAN. I give it gas, and I got full power to it, so is it in LIMP HOME?????

I stop turn key off, and on and off and on.... Rad is clean, Fan is not obstructed.....

I turn key on and start it.. The messages still there.... I ride about 15 feet and decide it is not a good idea to ride it with all these messages scrolling across.. I turn key off while still rolling...... As soon as I stop, I turn key back ON.. NO MESSAGES!!! And the fan never did turn on, at that point anyways...

The fan is working, as it had been on earlier while riding in the trails.....

Now, I have had some trouble outta my gas gauge lately too.. And STILL do.. It will read FULL when full, but as soon as it drops even ONE bar, it quits working and goes to EMPTY to up two bars, back down a bar then jump to 2/3 a tank and then back to EMPTY........

Bad ECM??????

Dirty connections somewhere that need cleaned and Dielectric Greased?????

Need the DEALER and my WARRANTY????

Any idea???

I HATE electrical problems!

Oh, and I rode it for about 30 more minutes back to the truck and all seemed well, Though I will say that it sounded like it was running a bit RICH all day, with the little backfire on decel, and even ran like it was a little richer than normal...

Could a faulty PROGRAMMER cause these codes???

I guess the first thing to check would be the battery terminals for looseness and the cables was one idea....

I THINK I found my problem... every one of my fuses is corroded and where they plug in is too. If anybody has seen the fuse diagram it controls the:
F1 5A= ignition coil
F2 20A= cooling fan
F3 5A= injectors
F4 7.5A= gauge
F5 7.5A= fuel pump
F6 5A= ECM
F7 20A= accessories
F10 15A= horn/flashers

But my relays are not. They are all fine.

Thanks for any and ALL INPUT!!

WATER.....
Or MUD... More than likely the water from riding the creek all summer........

Well, IT may have been the problem for the messages, but it sure did NOT fix the gas gauge...
Though, anybody know if the WIRE or SENSOR or anything TO the gas tank or gauge is UNDER the tank?? Like between the TANK and the COVER??? As alot of people on here, my cover for the tank has the HOOK that is broke, and is now full of mud, twigs, sand, or any other foreign materials..
