Warrior clutch help
#1
The clutch is pretty much toast on the Warrior and needs a new one. I have done them on trucks so I have the basic principle, but what parts do I need? Something about the basket and the disks or just the disks? I have been searching around but I wanted to ask you guys. Its a 88'
Thanks

Your clutch in the warrior is not the same as your truck. The atv has a clutch plate fiber and steel set, not sure of the amount but prob. about 6 each. It'll be held in by a pressure plate with springs that'll have to come off. When you replace the clutch make sure to replace the ALL the plates, some kits just come with the fibers. Also you may try to get a new set of springs and a new cable. Check the clutch basket for finger groves, which are indentions of the basket fingers where the fiber plate ride. If there too deep the basket will need to be replaced, if not just file them down so the plates don't catch the groves. Soak the fiber plate for a day in oil before you install them so they don't stick to the steel plates.
