no oil on dipstick

Default no oil on dipstick

i have a 06 350 rancher , the fill side of crankcase is full of oil and the dipstick showes on oil on it . any help

The fill side of the 2001-06 TRX350 is just the reserve tank .. Myself I would remove the clutch cover and check the oil pump and check the oil tank for something in the bottom plugging the lines/holes (which will be hard to check).. Here is the oil flow info ..

Default no oil on dipstick

Be darn sure you don't have your oil filter in backward! Black rubber gromet faces out, and seats on the nipple that is on the back of the cover. Spring is inside behind it all, and keeps the gromet tensioned on the nipple.
