Hey Everyone,
I just recieved my Warn RT 3.0 winch today via UPS. I had bought the polaris Glacier 2 plow and mount with the machine last Friday. I ordered the winch/mount from KFI. Tonight while installing the winch and mounts I noticed some bolt holes did not line up. The Polaris Glacier 2 plow mount came with 5 mounting holes. The center one in the very back under the machine, Two mount holes on the side, and two mount holes in the front. The winch mount appears to be correct as all the holes lined up to the machine. The Glacier 2 mount has three holes line up, but the two in the front do not match to the winch bracket. In fact the two holes in the front sit outside the silver brush gaurd that comes with the XP. Did polaris sell me the wrong mount? Tommorrow or the next day I can try to post some pic's if I figure out how, but I was just curious as to everyone elses experiences. Right now I only have three out of five bolts installed.

 

I bet the Polaris winch and the Warn winch made for Polaris are different than the universal Warn that you purchased.

I'm confused... are you using the KFI mount or the Polaris mount?

Will the KFI mount bolt up to the Polaris frame?

Can you drill holes in the mount to get them to line up?

 

It sounds to me like the winch mounting bracket is the wrong one for the XP.
