Default front end shimmy shimmy shake shake

i took the old beast out for a ride through the neighborhood today. i noticed a shimmy in the front end at higher speeds. took it home. noticed the front control arms had forward/rearward play in them. i tried to tighted the bolts, but that didn't help. are they worn out? both sides have the same play in them. i also tried to grease them, but there just seemed like too much slop from front to rear. any suggestions?

Probably just need bushings replaced if talking about a-arm slack. Easy job.
