Default 2006 sportsman 500 awd

Sometimes my front end kicks in all by itself when the rears are spinning(really takes away from the fun). It does not do it all the time but quite often. The switch is in 2 wheel drive when this happens. The four wheel drive works flawlessly otherwise. The indicator does not come on when it does it by itself. Thanks for any help.

i think it is designed that way....and i believe there was a posting on this topic. I do believe mine did this once....i have an 08 500

i dont think this is supposed to happen. some have associated this with a broken roller cage. might try doing some searching on here and see what comes up
