Default 2004 660 Raptor wont start

here is the story.

Battery died. My brother asked to ride the quad I forgot the battery was dead so I said go for it. He ended up bump starting it and rode for about 20min then he let the quad idel for about 10min while talking to his friends it ended up shuting down on him Im guessing due to overheatings because the battery had no juice to run the fans.

So today I got a new battery & it wont fire up. The red light turns on when trying to fire it all it does it crank.

Any clues on where to start is the motor done?

If it's turning over, either no fire at the plug or a carb issue.

No, that light is wired to come on when you crank it.
