Default 2002 sportsman 400 rear axle and bearing trouble

Have been trying for hours to remove right rear axle on my sportsman to replace inboard torn boot. Have driven in long screwdriver top and bottom but no luck. Need some ideaS PLEASE.

Also trying to drive rear wheel bearing out of housing. Got it started but can not get it out. Need help on this too.

Thanks

Never mind, I muscled up on the axle and got it out, LOTS of rust, will put back together with anti-seize.

Warmed up the bearing housing and beat the bearing out.

Any source for more durable boots for the axle?

Moose make a heavy duty boot kit,but I dont like the slide clamps (as offered on many after market atvs) eventhough I have the adjusting tool. Just hard to get the clamps really tight without them sliding around afterwards.
