My 850XP wants to dance
#1
Thats the feeling I had the first time I rode it at the dealership, fast and light. Then loading it I lined the front tires up on the ramp, gave it a (I thought) little gas and the front tires came down just in time in the middle of the trailer. It will be almost a shame to put it on the same trailer as my old 02' 500.
Thanks to a member on this forum I saved a LOT of money by going out of Colorado to buy and also enjoyed people looking at the LE on the road home. I drove in at 4 AM and my wife was riding up and down the street in her robe at 4:15.
Thank you all for your information on this and everything else.

bentarrow -- Congrats on your new XP!
If you don't mind, but where'Oo where did you go to purchase your 850 XP??? I am in the market for one...and was thinking of buying in Colorado, but if you know of a place that sells for less...I am happy to add mileage to my trip to save money.
If you like...you can PM me if you feel more comfortable...
Thanks,
biz

I bought from Shoals Outdoor Sports in Alabama. It was a 1100 mile drive but I saved $1500 on the LE, out the door for $9144.60 and no tax! They show the price on their web site and there was no add on after I got there. Every dealer I talked to in Denver and the Front Range wanted list, I guess they think if you want a Polaris you will pay their price. Big deal at the show was a $100 credit to spend at the dealer's store and pay list for the ATV.

Man, bentarrow, I hope your wife didn't have the curlers in her hair, with the blue facial mask pasted on, with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. I'm kidding. That was just a funny picture in my mind of a lady riding up and down the street in a robe. I wish my wife was that enthusiastic. Could have got two single rider machines instead of the 2-up. But I do like my dump bed.

Congratulations BentArrow on the new machine and having a wife that's seems to be as crazy (maybe more) than the rest of us! I haven't reached the 20 hour mark with mine yet so not alot of ride time but I will say that everytime I drive the 850 it does bring a smile to my face. Please post some pics when you get a chance.
