Anyone know the horsepower of the Sportsman 800 EFI? Also, the manual says to warm it up for 2-3 minutes...is this necessary? Thanks,

 

The 800 was 52 hp the 800ho was 56,it is a good idea to let any engine warm up before just taking off.

 

Not sure of the HP off the top of my head,and yes ANYTHING that has an engine needs to be warmed up before throwing a load on it.

A friend of mine has a teenage boy who loves to fire up his 300 and take off full throttle......that drives me crazy!
