hell yes those kinda quads sell for 8 to 9 most of the time, that quads got everything, nothing left to install, 53 is a steal my opinion

 

I wouldn't because I'm not racing. IMO if your not racing than your overpaying hugely for mods and things you don't need and will never use as intended. I'd just find a piped YFZ somewhere and spend about half of what I saved on mods that I do want and will use.

If you plan on racing than ya, it maybe a good deal.

 

i think that is a little high for an 04, to be honest. i see decked out, race ready 07s go for less. just my opinion tho. it is a nice quad tho

 

Not in this economy with so many toys on the market, everthing is priced down. You are taking a hit in long term reliability with a built out quad. If you think you need all that, it might be worth it for you though.

 

I wouldn't worry about reliability as much. With the parts he has used it should be no worse off than stock, probably a bit better actually. GNCC style is all about long term use although the top guys still rebuild frequently. Still, I think that price is a bit steep for an '04. If you are an MX'r or significantly heavier and/or faster than the current owner, the shocks will probably be to soft so consider you may need to drop a decent note on that.
