i have a 02 polaris sportsman 500 that i had to replace the cam and rocker arms on. after i done this i can not get it to start now. it keeps blowing air back into the carb and can not figure out what is wrong with it. pretty sure the timing is set correct on it cause i went off the T mark then set the cams. please help

 

Cam index pin straight up when you replaced chain and sprocket on cam? valves at .006 intake and exhaust? Was it doing this before you replaced cam (rings,low compression?) Did you reset cam chain tensioner and pull on recoil to let tensioner adjust to chain?

 

i lined everything back up just like it says in the book to do. i had taken it to a polaris dealer and i went to pick it up cause it was taking them to long to get the parts and they pretty much just tossed it all back together cause would not even start when i picked it up like it was when i dropped it off.
