Need hekp with new Jetmoto 150
#1
Just took delivery of new jetmoto 150cc, have spent fiull day to assemble, check bolts, locktite, etc. fired it up this morning and let idle for 10-15 minutes, then drive around to backyard to dump original oil, initial drive was maybe 1-2 minutes will light to moderate throttle. when i stopped gas was steady dripping out the bottom frame through a tube running from carb. Shut it down. After closing gas valve and letting gas evaporate, opening gas valve more gas starts dripping out and it will not start. Starting spins but does not appear to be firing. Can someone please help?

This is a common problem on new quads. The float/needle valve in the carburetor is stuck open. The hose where the gas is leaking out is the overflow vent. Probably some debris in the fuel line has lodged in the needle/seat valve. You'll have to disassemble the carburetor and clean it.
Do you have a fuel filter in the fuel line? If not you need to add one. Otherwise you will become an expert at cleaning the carburetor.

Thanks! Here's an update. I removed the upper throttle body pulling out the throttle cable, spring assembly and needle. I shot 1/4 can of carb cleaner in to top of carb and let sit for 30 or so minutes. Then I tapped lower carb bowl with screw driver handle. Fired up and so far so good. Dumped replaced oil and daughter is cruising around the back yard.
Appreciate the help!
