i had trouble with compression. had spark and fuel but no compression now i just put new rings on and have the compression but no spark what could have happened from just sitting

 

make sure the boot didnt unscrew from the wire. that happens sometimes. have you checked the compression. a new topend should read about 115-120 PSI. anything below 100 will not work very well. usually requires a jug bore to get compression back. could also be as simple as a back spark plug
