Default Bruin Primary Clutch Help

Hello everyone, I am new on the forum. Can you please help me with a problem I am having. I bought a 2006 Bruin 350 4x4 that has been beat to death. I almost have it all rebuilt except for one issue. I don't think it is shifting completely. Can someone tell me how high the belt should ride on the primary at high RPM. This one does not ride all the way to the top edge of the sheaves, it is about 1/4" down. Is this ok? I have removed and cleaned, re-greased both the primary and secondary. There were some worn parts that I replaced. The belt measures ok.
Sorry for the long post!
Thanks in advance for any help.
Maybe I am chasing something that is not even a problem!

Default Bruin Primary Clutch Help

It probably doesn't have to be a Bruin, I'm just wondering how high the belt should come up on the primary.
