Do you mean only engine mods? I would start looking for some suspention upgrades (a-arms, swing arms, axles). What kind of tires does he have on it now?
The only thing really you could do with the engine is to get it ported and polished.

Me and a buddy put a big bore kit on a Blaster then port and polished the head and an aftermarket reed... We really had no idea what we we're doing but when we were done, that thing would SCREAM!!! lol..

We had paddle tires on it and it would climb anything.... fun little quad!

Reeds make a huge difference, also you should look into hotcams, porting is also another very nice thing you can do.

Wink

i had a 240 vito and port and polish on my old blaster, and i loved it, aside from the fact that i had to rebuild it often, i like the power gain of the big bore kit...

That is one big disadvantage to big HP, is reliability. Maintnance is a constant thing as long as you have the time and $$$. I replaced the rings after 3 shows and pistons after 6 so you don't end up with a broken engine case. I really liked our B and it produced a ton of power, one thing that we did is bought a Airsal cylinder and had it coated which made it bullet proof if a piston did go.
