how can i make kids atv go faster?

Default how can i make kids atv go faster?

I just got a bush hog 50cc. is there a way to make it go any faster? the throttle screw is adjusted out. what else can i do. I don't have the manual to it.

I am not familiar with this make, is it a 2 or 4 stroke and am I correct in assuming it is a CVT drive.

all that i know is that it is a chain driven 50 cc automatic /no gears you just push the throttle. take-off is really good, it just has no topend.

its only a 50. how much more were you looking to get? 2 or 4 stroke?

It depends on the manufacturer,some use a spacer on top of the carb slide to limit travel,, some have a spacer in the rear driven clutch to limit how far the sheaves move (CVT trans) some have a jumper or extra wire on the cdi that must be removed or cut, but you would need a manual or schematics for that.Almost forgot, check where the exhaust pipe hooks to the motor, some will put a restrictor there to limit exhaus flow. Don't know if the intake would be the same way, but never hurts to check. If you do open up the intake or exhaust, check your plug afterwards to make sure you are not running lean.

You don't know if you add 2 stroke oil in a separate container other than the gas tank?
