Default SeaFoam in every tank?

I currently use StaBil, but after talking with a SeaFoam rep I think I'll give them a try. SeaFoam claims to be able to stabilize gas for 2 years plus it has many other benefits. I never know when my next ride will be so I'm in the habit of always adding a stabilizer to my gas when i get it. Does anyone run SeaFoam in every tank? I don't see how it would hurt anything, but you never know.

I have been using Sta-bil since 1990 because of my first generator purchase at that time period and it still runs great. While don't quote me on this you just double the dosage with Sta-bil for the longer or 2 years.

I still rotate my stored gas for the generators about once a year and date the containers. My 2 cycle blower started first pull a couple of weeks ago and pretty much the same with the mowers.

I would follow the directions on the bottle of Seafoam and you should have no problem. I used some last fall to clean out some fuel injectors and the stuff works.

I have used Seafoam for many years. I add it to first and last tank each year.

Since I've started using it, I put about 3-4 oz every third tank.

If I know it's gonna sit for a while, then I'll make sure the tank is full, add a little extra and drain the carb.

I thought seafoam was candy. Mmm, chocolate candy.

seafoam works wonders, use it. i put some in about every 2 tanks of fuel and it keeps things clean and degunked. if you store things make sure the tank is full and the carb is empty. i use sta-bil for storage and seafoam for cleaning, but to each his own

SeeFoam works really well for fogging an engine. On my truck I will pull the vacume line going to the brake system and dump some in there while the engine is running. I'll try to play with the throttle to keep the engine running and add just enough at a time until the engine about dies. Do this for about a 1/2 can. I notice the results espesially on somthing that has been sitting...

Thanks for all the replies, but I have just one more question. If this stuff de-gunks an engine, where does the gunk go? Will I need to clean the spark arrestor afterwards? Not that I expect to have much gunk in my '07 Wolvy.

Cherokee99 - a great year for the XJ, mines an '99 too.
