Default my headlight pod switches hand, thumb, reverse/work lights, warning lights

well i worked most of the night wireing and adjusting my headlight pod switches. my old switche arangement looked like this:

under side wireing:

awhile back i got one thumb warmer switch and now i got the rest. iv still got 2 left if some one else wants one or 2. so now it lookes like this:

under side wireing:

i got the warmer switches so it all lookes stock/same. plus the center is off. so the top right switch will control my lights as follows: work lights come on when tranny is in reverse only/center off nothing works/work lights on when the key is on. i had to fix the nose cone since the oem cut out was lower than the hole i drilled for a toggle switch shown here(also a good referance for those of you who would like to cut out or add a switch or another switch. easy to cut out:

and the oem work light wireing shown here(black plug pointing towards the top/right of the pic:

so after fixing it it lookes like this:

Size: 83.0 KB

here it is all wired/soldered with the relay(all i need to do is plug everything together and run one wire from the relay to the tranny. i hope it works) if the weather holds out i will do it today and add more pics.:

all my switches iv added LED indacaor lights. the worklight/reverse light switch led indacator will come on only when the back lights are on either manualy or auto. i also used a waterproof relay. iv had to many issues when useing a regular relay on police cars where wather can get to it.

and other misc. pics:

That's funny, I spent last night cutting out the front panel for the winch, moving my winch switch, mounting a horn and installing the 3 light mod so the pics look familiar although the wiring on my 08 500 looks a little different under the pod.

Now I'm ready for the handlebar switch and HID kit that are supposed to arrive today. Another night or two in the garage for both of us!

Looks good chuck.

How did you add the large photos - I thought the limit was 600 x 280?

i have no idea how i got the pics so big. all i did was take the pics, load them to photobucket, then link them to this. and it worked.

lota work. nah. keeps me busy. then i dont chew my finger nails to the bone. i always like to build/wire something.

soldering iron, and the pieces of plastic i cut out for the switches. and about a 1/2hr.

who has the backup light kit? i tryed to make my own. but had no luck. id like to know what the 2 relays do. im pretty shure one turns the backup light on, and im thinking the other had to do with the resistor pack??? (resistor pack is dumb)
