i am getting ready to re-grease all the major pivot points on my 400ex. The main one i want to do is the bearing carrier assembly for the rear axle. Just thought id ask what is the best type of grease to use. Ive heard that marine grease is the best because it repels water very well. Any thoughts would be appreciated..thanks

I use Lubrimatic Marine Corrosion Control and Trailer Wheel Bearing Grease.

Be sure to grease the swingarm pivot bearings and pivot bolt. Both can be stubborn to remove if the get seized. When I installed new pivot bearings on my 250R, I a couple installed grease zerks.
