Default Vbike Spare parts alternative

hi guys i have now had my vbike for a good 16 months and yes i have abused it pretty much all the time and i must be honest i thought i would have had to fix alot more than what i have done.

my next problem i had on the bike was...wheel bearings.the problem that caused it was a bolt on the rear sprocket came loose and was basically gouging a hole all the way around the bearing untill i spotted it....my first point is check your sprokets, and the second thing i was gonna say was i took the rear axle apart and took it to the local moto x store and asked if he had a bearing to fit it? he took one look at it and thought it was a honda rear axle so the bearings are avalible all day long for us at a (hate to say this tim from vbike) $7:45 each where as tim sells cheaper quality ones for $10 each plus shipping, now i have nothing against vbike what so ever(brought me HOURS of fun) but if i can get a better/cheapper bearing i will

Perhaps if anyone finds anymore "Spare" parts that fit please do use a favour and post here.thanks guys

Nothing wrong with saving a few bucks...I buy most of my bearings from mcmastercarr, much cheaper than the dealer.

Glad to see you found the bearings split.

If you ever want to replace the bushings in your front or rear swing arms there alot of manufactures on the web that make the sizes that you would need.

I've read where guys that replaced the inferior bushings with some good ones had much better handling after, made the ATV feel new again.

That just happened to my son's V4s but the housing is shot. We are waiting a month a new housing from Tim, I like the v-bikes but getting parts is a joke. Do you know if a honda housing willl fit>

Not sure about a Honda housing Nuffer, but another possibilty for you might be a machine shop. I not sure whats wrong with your axle housing but a machine shop might be able to weld it up for you, and even make it alot stonger. Just an idea.
