you can pressure wash it all you want. just when your done blow it all dry with compressed air and spray the cylinder walls with wd-40 so they wont flash rust

I have a friend that just put his in the dishwasher....... Cleaned it right up. You just have to get it out and dry it immediately.... Either that or scuff the surface rust off when you get home from work!!!!

Default Dobech Fuel Programmer Raptor 700

I have a full Dr. D pipe on my 2006 Raptor 700 with a K&N air filter and a Dobech programmer. I set the programmer for the "open" pipe which was in the manuel and it runs good. I was wondering if anyone has the Dobech programmer with a full pipe and what number settings they have it set for, and how they run at that setting? Thanks in advance, please give me your imput.

This is my opinion regarding pressure washing and it's based on the fact that I design and build them.

You can't beat pressure washing greasy assemblies with a pressure washer especially with hot water and a good quality degreasing cleaner.

Disassembled parts can be washed in a parts washer or even a dishwasher as was mentioned since this does a more through job but most people don't want dirty engine/drivetrain parts in their dishwasher.

As for the entire machine I would recommend a garden hose with warm water and soap with a sponge. I don't pressure wash my whole machine.

BTW most people put way too much emphasis on pressure and don't consider water volume like those cheap little washers that are available.
