whats the word on banshee fmf fattys

 

pretty good but ive herd the toomy t5s are the best all around pipes out the for the shee.

 

fattys are what it was ported for.i still trail ride and didnt want it all on top end.

 

Well if you had it ported for fattys and you bought fattys.... what is the question?

 

the fattys are ok pipes, but the toomey t-5s and t-6s are a little better with a unique sound.

 

who ported your bike?

 

adrenaline powersports did the porting it starts first kick and rund really stong

 

i did cross country racing with toomey t5's and they worked just fine. i used stock 14/41 gearing most of the time. if you need a little extra bottom, try a 42 tooth rear, worked great for me. also i run a coolhead with 20cc domes, with 91 pump gas. gives a little bottom and all around rip. all of this was done with 20 inch rear tires, i still have the bike and love it for riding in the woods. the fattys are a great pipe but dont let anyone fool you about the toomeys, they have good bottom end , too. one of toomey's secrets over the fmf pipes is the special set of needles used with the toomeys. very thin and allow fuel to be released alot sooner.
