Hey my friend has a 2005 Yamaha blaster with Fmf gold series fatty pipe 260. main jet and v-force 3 reeds. He wants to get a port job done to his piston. i was just wondering who does good porting for drag racing and good reliability on the quad and who has the best price. Also, I dont know how much Hp porting adds to a blaster.

im not sure where to go to get the porting but i can tell you porting can make a HUGE power difference it all depends on how aggressive the porting is, there is usually trail porting, dune porting and some others, porting and pipes is some of the biggest power adders on blasters as well as other bikes.

 

He would definitely prefure dune porting. Do you have any idea what the price range for dune porting is?

 

You would have to find someone in your area, you could sure ship it but $$$$ and I think that you could find someone. Porting is one thing that will bring a Blaster to life with of course exhaust and jetting, but it does take some of the reliability away with the stress on the pistons.

dont now bought mine already done.i rode a stock 03 blaster that my buddy cousin said he was selling his went over there rode it than loaded in my truck.mine also is bored .50
