recently purchased this machine from a fella that said it was too slow for his child. paid 500.00. Took it home asnd the first thing I did was adjust the cdi. It was set at 2. Guess the fella didn't know about it. Tires are like new, didn't ride it much. Just placed a koso jug on it. Having a clutch kit, drr pipe, koso intake,keihn carb (20mm) , a uni,and outerware. installed at the moment. How much of a differance is this going to make on this machine. what is stock HP, What type of gain do you think I'll see. What's next, performance clutch? Variator? CDI? Rims? Spacers? LOL this is a expensive hobby that my children love !

 

Suspension so it can handle going as fast as it can.
Then porting.

 

What you mentioned and reeds. Not sure about the HP but I think you'll be pleased with the performance.

 

what type of suspension mods should be done, money is always an issue, however have some spare cash lying around. are we talking new shock's or new A-arm's. swing-arm. plaese advise

 

I have worked on our 90s suspension over the years and have got it working really really good..I bought all of the stuff used off of ebay so I didn't spend a fortune...It started with a set of "free" 1 1/2 wheel spacers..They made the bike much more stable and had the extra bonus of making the front suspension softer due to the extra leverage of the wider front end....Next I scored a set of 3 works shocks..These were a huge improvement on the front end especially adding some much needed travel and plushness....The rear eton shock is actually pretty good...I did also try some stock polaris predator 90 shocks(2 inches more travel) on the front of the bike but they were a little too long and made the bike tippy due to the front wheels being tipped out at the top so I did not use them..If I would have had the spacers along with the stock predator shocks I think it would have worked perfectly and been a very low buck setup...Our next mod was a set of + 2 wider front A-arms..This has made the bike incredibly stable and along with the works shocks it sucks up the bumps very well..It is 500% better handling than stock with this setup.....
