location 2006 polaris sportman 500 efi fuel filter

Default location 2006 polaris sportman 500 efi fuel filter

what is the location of a 2006 polaris 500 sportsman efi fuel filter just thinking this may be the problem on one i want to buy but want a quick answer on location what do you think of 3200.00 dollar price 2006 500 efi 60 hours

It's in the gas tank as part of the fuel pump, I believe. Check CV joints, boots, tie rods, and ball joints. Make sure they are tight. Check brakes.

In line fuel filter located at front of tank. They usually dont present a problem if you have a fuel related problem, usually the pump (unless you have water in fuel ) or sensor harness problems which are the two most problem areas. More detail on how it runs ??

I agree with Polaris Tech. Never had an issue with the fuel filter and it is located under the front of the tank. Pretty sure if you post what the problem is with it running you should be able to get some help diagnosing the issue.

The machine had old gas in it from last fall had them drain it then added some fresh with stabil in it it would run just above idle for 30 seconds or less then stop thought maybe the filter had clogged do too old gas water etc
