i bought a 2001 polaris scrambler 500 4x4....it needed a battery and the 4x4 didnt work once i put the battery in and flipped the 4x4 switch.....the 4x4 engaged...and will not dis-engage even if its in 2x4... i rode it like that for a while thinking maybe it would free up....but the switch is off and its still in 4x4....also since then the right side doen not work maybe i blew the hilliard clutch...if any one can helpme that would be helpful thank you

 

have you tried changing the hub fluid? sometimes youll need to change it a few times to flush them out. more times than not, this is the problem.
