Default Finnally found the REAL problem with my warrior

A while ago i had a big problem with my Warrior and asked for some help in the below link
http://forums.atvconnection.com/yama...ning-carb.html

AFTER forever and alot of time and money, i actually found the real problem: the dam CDI unit went bad.
So for any of those interested its finally up and running like a champ.
And with a HotCam Stage1 cam, Whitebros exhaust, 155mainjet,RMSTATOR CDI Unit and stock gearing I can easily pop a wheely going into 3rd. Cheers

CDI units not common but makes sense - I have the luxury of having parts to swap to check. I once had a warrior that wouldn't rev past 3/4 throttle right after a new carb, pipe, head work, and air cleaner. Turned out to be the air cleaner was too small!!! You never know....

Thanks for the post! It is rare to find out what the actual problem/solution was around here. Sounds like unfortunate timing for that to go bad right after the carb work. Glad you are riding again.

Sounds like you have my luck. lol You would think that it would have been something related to what you were working on, but I am glad you got it figured out, and even more so that you shared the fix with us.
