The last 250cc that could hit 60 was a Honda 250R which is a colectors item, good luck getting a china quad to do it.

I second that, I dont think you'll be able to hit your mark. I doubt those quads have the torque necessary to take advantage of a new sprocket or larger tires. Enjoy them for what they are

Going a larger front sprocket will get you more speed and is an easy fix. My Jet 250 came with a 17t and could reach speeds of 60mph but sucked at climbing. So I have now lowered it to I think 14 or 15t and is much better at climbing but still not great but will top out at 40ish. By looking at the 250t video's they look to be geared much lower then the Jets.

sprocket changes will get you top end or low end but you still are not getting anymore out of the motor.

cant beat the honda ex's and used ones come at decent prices.

top end would mean i pick up a few mpr, on my 150 with a tire change i picked up 5 mpr so with a sprocket change i should see 5mpr i would think . i don't realy care if i don't get anything out of the motor as long as i get more mph out of it.. and yes are 400ex piped ,jetted with a sprocket change is more than i need.

I would concentrate on getting the jetting correct and finding a sprocket combination that gives you the speed you need/want for where you want to go fast...But not lose low end power when you need to climb a hill...

My KTM comes geared go about 120 mph...thats with a 15/48 sprocket combo...I like a little more low end and dont really need to go over 105 or so (actually rarely use 6th gear) so I use a 14/52 sprocket combo..
