I need a wiring diagram for an 01 Scrambler. Previous owner put in a different ignition switch, but hooked it up wrong. It turns on the accessories and turns the starter, but it will NOT turn off the quad, and neither will the on/off switch?? Need some help, I got 2 red/black wires coming from the left bar that hooked to nothing and go hot when the on/off switch is "on" and the key is "on", and on black wire to the CDI is hooked to nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

hook the black wire from the cdi to ground..bet everything will work again

 

Black wire to gnd, kills the engine..........no matter where the switches are

 

after re-reading your post you say a black wire going to the cdi...is it already hooked into the cdi or coming from somewhere else?
