Brake lever for smaller hands?
#1
I have a 100cc mini hummer for my 6 yrs old and would like to know where can I obtain different brake lever for his smaller hand?
Also, if no option is available can I bend the stock one a little so its easier for my little guy to operate?
Thank you in advance!

I'm in the same situation. I have three possibilities that I haven't tried yet:
1) Buy a second set of OEM brake levers, heat them up, and bend them a little closer;
2) Put lockwashers around the brake cable near the levers to keep the levers from retracting all the way; and
3) #2 but use tension pins cut to the desired length (because they will fit more closely around the cable instead of rattling around in the brake lever mechanism).

Thanks WAATV for your post!
I really like the option # 1 but do you know what material is use on the stock lever?
Can it be heat up and bend as with most metal?
Will you be doing your soon?Please post pics if after yours is done.
Also, the rear brake is hydraulic and can you still use option # 2 or 3 on it?
Thanks again
btw: the bike is a 110cc not 100cc its a typo.

Years ago I used one of those skinny nuts that go on a dirt bike valve stem...I slit one end with a hack saw and slipped it over the cable between the lever and the bracket...Crimp the nut and it wont fall off...This only works with cable operated brakes.
