I think you can get it recoated on the inside. But also check ebay for a nother one. Also several guys on a site called three wheeler world might know about getting it off another trike

You can get a plastic tank for around $100 if I'm not mistaken that will hold more gas. However, IMO they are kinda ugly. How bad is the rust in your tank? Are we talking surface rust or holes?

If you want to keep the original one you might try calling some local radiator shops. There are a couple here in Jackson that can coat the inside & offer a lifetime warranty on the coating.

its got like surface rust, its bad enough that when you're riding it'll plug the fuel filter and then the carb. it'll run for about 10 minutes then die and fire up again. is there any three wheeler based web sites if so what their address? thanks again

Check out the links on my site, lots of other 3wheeler sites out there. You need to quit running it unti you fix that tank or you'll end up having to replace your carb. have you tried ebay yet? there are usually lots of atc parts there if you know how to type the right search term.
