Default Grinded master link, Is this safe?

When I took off my chain to put on a bigger front sprocket, the clip on the master link would not go back on. So I took my dremmel and grinded the master link. I rode it around, it seems to be holding good. Is this safe?

Tx

what exactly did you grind? and it's Ground.. not grinded. also $3 for a new master link is alot cheaper than $200+ for a new case when you break it from the chain coming off

Ya, get a new one. You must be patient with them. Work with it and they will go on. Maybe use set of vice grips.

Also, spend the extra bucks and get a chain breaker.
