1998 scrambler 500 running really hot

Default 1998 scrambler 500 running really hot

i have a 98 500 scrambler that is running really hot. it's full on oil and coolent. the fan works, water pump seems to be working. i'm lost on this one, anyone have any ideas why it is running so hot? it gets so hot you can't touch the back plastic over the exhaust

If your exhaust is getting that hot it sounds to me like it may be running lean. Are you getting nay popping at all on decel?

it pops sometimes when i shut it off, if it is running lean how do i adjust it?

have you checked to see if the radiator is plugged off with mud? use a pressure washer or go to a car wash with a wash wand and spray into the cooling fins of the radiator. your fan is running but it cannot flow enough air to cool radiator. let us know
