Thanks and Yeeee Haaaaaaah!

Thanks to everyone here who helped me with advice on buying and repairing my 250x over the past few weeks.
I finally had the chance to take it out at my friends place in upstate NY, and all I can say is WOW!
He's got a few dozen acres, and a few miles of trails cut through old pasture lands and pine forest. I've been going there for 20 years, but till now, the only toys we had were a few 100cc Honda 2 wheelers and some kids quads.
It's all turns and the longest straightaway is probably a few hundred yards at best, so you hardly get out of 3rd gear... I was very pleasantly surprised by the acceleration, I read a ton of threads and saw lots of people advising to go right for a 400cc instead of the 250x, but for the conditions I couldn't be happier with the results.
The only troubles I still need to sort out is that it's hard to start after sitting for a few days, and that it stalls out going through more than 6" of water or mud. It starts right back up immediately, so I'm planning to put heat shrink tubing on any electrical connections I can reach and silicone spray the coil wire and see if that helps. Anything else I should be checking?
Thanks again,
Rich
