Default 04 Polaris Sportsman 700 camo

A person I know is selling their 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 mossy oak camo. How much do you guys think its worth? It has 1238 miles on it.

Here are the pics:

I paid $3950 for a 2005 700 EFI off of ebay with about the same miles. This one looks like about the same shape as mine. How many hours on it?

You know what they say, if you don't ask, you generally don't receive. For $2500, I'd point out any "deficiencies" it has i.e. needs new tires, rusted header pipe/exhaust, no winch or brush guards. etc....I'm sure you could work out a deal.

So is 2,500 a good price for the condition and lack of winch, brushguard etc.?

If you could get it for $2500 it would be a steal I think. I think you could easily pay at least $1000 more for this. Check the blue book on it, take it for a ride and make your best offer!

The guys said he could do 2,800 including tax and fees. Does that sound like a pretty good price? Also, does it look too rusty, or is that nice condition?

Seems like a great price. I don't see any excessive rust. Make sure you start it and drive it a little first though. Just looking won't tell you everything. Good luck!
