Default 2004 Polaris Sportsman not starting

My sportsman 400 wont start. It just makes a click noise from the solenoid. I have taken off the starter and had it taken apart and tested. Looks brand new. I have put a new battery on also. I getting tired of buying stuff. Could it be the solenoid? Is there any way of testing it. I cranks fine with the pull start.

Default 400

Check your wires/connections for the battery/starter/solenoid to make sure they are tight. Could be something as simple as that. You can test the solenoid too if that doesn't fix the problem. I don't have a 400 manual so not sure what ohms to check on it. If you don't have a manual someone here should or you can ask the dealer.

Default Starter???

Solenoid has one side battery terminal-other side goes to starter should be able to jump across see if starter works. While you had starter off did you test? RE: you could have you used a battery / jumper cables ground to starter frame-positive to starter terminal shoud spin.(HOLD STARTER) Check all connection GROUNDS!!!!

Thanks for all of your help. It was the solenoid. I did jump across the two bolts and it would crank. Picked a new one up for under $25.00.
