i ahve a 2000 scrambler 500.it ran good until the belt broke last week,i put a new belt on and now it doesnt run right.when i accelerate the motor revs up and it goes but will not go very fast.about 15-20 mph and the motor is toped out.any ideas what this could be.

 

Take the secondary clutch apart clean out the belt pieces and check the ramp buttons
