Default My Sunl 150cc will barely start and won't idle

I just bought a used Sunl atv 150cc and it will usually start after a couple of cranks. when it does start though, i can't get to stay on. It always dies. it has plenty of gas and the battery looks good. Any ideas?

by the way, i do now that sunl is a peice of junk but it was cheaper than the others.

Its a good place to start...idle screw will be sticking out of the side of the carb with a spring under it...with all the different carbs used it could be on either side.

The question in my mind is once it starts, can you keep it going if you apply the throttle? If it's something as simple as the idle being set too low, you should be able to keep it running with the throttle being applied slightly. If this is not the case, the idle circuit, and others such as even the main jet, may be stopped up and require the carb to have a thorough cleaning with carb cleaner and using compressed air to blow through all the holes in it.
Just my .02 cents. You can keep the change!
